SARA CAREY, LPCA

Sara specializes in treating children 5+, adolescents and adults who may be struggling with anxiety, trauma, familial issues or life transitions. Sara is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, and offers a unique experience to clients by combining her knowledge of counseling with over two decades of experience in the equine industry. She has observed the changes horses can make in the lives of others and enjoys seeing her clients grow in their mental health journey as they experience the many benefits equine-assisted therapy can provide.

 

Sara is a Louisville, KY native. She is a wife and mother of two young children and enjoys spending time with her family by going to the park, frequenting the zoo, and adventuring around their mini farm. In her spare time, Sara likes being in the outdoors as she finds it helps with mindfulness and calming her thoughts around the beautiful chaos of life.
